Champions League Preview 3/10

Well my friends we are back again, I have on good authority the two winners that will be moving forward today. Are you ready? Its Champions League Football time.

Alright well obviously Bleacher Refart (Got EM) is playing the matches at the exact same time so were shot on watching both unless you are shady. (I am also shady) The matches we got are RB Leipzig hosting Spurs, and Valencia hosting Atalanta.

Leipzig are holding a 1-0 (away goal) lead over Spurs who are still without Son and Harry Kane. Now Spurs haven’t looked all that convincing in recent matches winless in 5. Leipzig on the other hand are unbeaten in 6. New signing Steve Bergwijn is questionable as well so Tottenham are really lacking on offense when they need goals. The game is played behind closed doors because of Corona Virus scares, which is a huge plus for Tottenham since playing in Germany is never easy.

Does Jose plan on playing Dele up front again? We all saw how that went last time, Lamela and Winks aren’t the men who will bring you back this game. The real problem is the form Schick and Werner Tottenham need to have an answer for those two who have been red hot. I don’t see this going to well for Tottenham I expect a very defensive performance from Jose as he tries to hold his ego up. Clean win for Leipzig.

Leipzig -1 +140

Next game we got is Atalanta heading over to Spain to play Valencia. Atalanta has a 4-1 lead on aggregate and are unbeaten in their last 6. Valencia has had a tough run of form but are always very formidable at home. Its tough going into the Estadio de Mestella and coming out with a win. I do think Atalanta will advance, but Valencia will give them a run for their money. Valencia still missing their always reliable center back Garay they will hope Mangala doesn’t have a repeat of last leg.

Atalanta have been absolutely red hot and with the Corona virus Valencia will not have the fans support. Atalanta have scored 11 goals in just their last 2 games. One of those just so happened to be Valencia. The whole rest vs rust theory may come in to play here with Atalanta’s matches being canceled as of late. I still think Atalanta will handle the game, but I think Valencia make it rough.

Atalanta + Both teams to score +250

Let’s just get excited Liverpool Atleti coming up next. ANNNNNNNDDDD PSG hosting Dortmund. I LOVE THE SMELL OF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE IN THE MORNING.
