What a day we had yesterday everything that Young Leg says might just come true maybe it is one of those weeks. Either way its another CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DAY. This gives me a reason for life back to back Champions League we got Liverpool hosting Atletico Madrid, and PSG hosting Dortmund. Possibilities of the games being played behind closed doors in France I doubt it in England. Its time…
First match we got is Liverpool taking on the Spaniards in Anfield. It is Diego Simeones men coming to ruin Liverpool’s season. Liverpool in some very suspect form since losing to Atletico at the Wanda only 2 wins in their last 5 matches. Atletico have not lost in their last 6 matches. Joao Felix has also returned to the Atleti line up and is in some hot form scoring in 2 of his last 3 matches. Liverpool will be without starting goalkeeper Alisson, and Atletico will be missing Thomas Lemar. I think as far as injuries go after watching Adrian last match I would be worried if I was a Liverpool fan.
I think this match is going to go one way and it is going to break peoples hearts. The main advantage that Atletico have is that any goal they score now is going to be huge down the road because they would have that away goal. The 0 that was held at the Wanda first leg is a huge stat that nobody wanted to mention. Sh*t Liverpool didn’t even get a shot on target. I think Liverpool are going to come out hungry and attack the shit out of Atleti, however Simeone most definitely has a plan. We may see the same plan as last time, but Simeone will always have his defensive tactics to help his side keep the clean sheet. Having Jan Oblak does hurt either best goalie in the world. I do think that the main problems will be that front 3, because there is no way they are going to stay as cold as they were last leg. If Trent Alexander Arnold doesn’t have another absolute stinker and serves the balls we know he can serve it will be a very fun match to watch. How I think it is going to go is complete heart break.
I got Liverpool winning 2-1 Atletico Madrid advancing.
Over 2.5 Goals +104
Next match we got is PSG host Borussia Dortmund. Tuchel hosts his old squad and I can’t tell you how bad I want to see him lose and get sacked. He is a terrible coach and nobody will be able to convince me otherwise. Dortmund are red hot right now winning their last 5 matches and averaging under a goal against in that time. PSG have also won their last 3 matches since losing to Dortmund when they played at the Yellow Wall. With the Corona Virus scares this match could be played behind closed doors which would be bad news for PSG after playing against a hostile Dortmund crowd and losing. The biggest part of this PSG Dortmund game to keep an eye on is that lone away goal that PSG has. All they need is a 1-0 victory and it would send them through to the knockouts. However with Veratti and Meunier both suspended after last game we are going to see a bit of a makeshift lineup from Tuchel. While Marco Reus remains injured for Dortmund.
The problem that PSG will face is once again how do you stop Haland his form has slipped just a bit the last two matches not getting a goal, but he also averages a goal so that is just what we have come to expect. Jadon Sancho continues his form and Julian Brandt shows he is also going to be a problem for defenses. On the PSG side theirs questions about Icardi, Mbappe, and if moving Marquinhos into the midfield is the right move here. PSG need offense so missing their maestro is going to be a problem. Also Icardi fighting with Tuchel over time and Mbappe getting tested for Corona Virus (He doesnt have it) are enough to make any fan worry. Well keep on worrying PSG fans cause I got Dortmund getting through here. If Neymar has enough magic in his boots he can save PSG, but I don’t see it.
Dortmund ML +300
Even more massive matches next week as Champions League continues I can hardly wait. Should we talk about Europa League tomorrow or should I just go throw up until game time? Eh I guess we will find out later.
