The biggest piece of chit on the planet finally has a weekly article detailing five games that Young Leg will choose from each week. Some of these games are noteworthy and some of these games are absolute dogshit, but the focus here is on the betting line and there is no one better than our very own Young Leg. Our fearless leader can provide you with the information and he sure as chit is successful.
Up first we have the return of the Premier League: Man City v. Arsenal:
Line: City -290, Draw +460, Arsenal +650
History: Arsenal have lost their last six matches against City. Home and Away does not seem to matter, City has been utterly dominant. We can excuse the fact that Emery was in charge for 4 of those last six losses, but I have a strong feeling that Arteta will be able to set up the team to beat the dominant city side. This being the first game back after the suspension of the season it should be an up and down match and Arsenal should be able to take advantage of that.
Players to Watch: From City all eyes should be on KDB, he has been consistently talking about leaving the club so it will be interesting to see him back in action and whether or not he will start. If he does not start, keep an eye on Rodri in the central midfield. As for Arsenal all eyes should be on the main man PEA, he is currently having difficulty in contract negotiations but we will see what he brings to the field. If Aube falls off keep an eye on the youngster from Arsenal, Saka, he was absolutely dominant before the season suspension and you can be sure to see his continued success
YL’s Pick: Arsenal Money line
Bundesliga: Bayern v. Gladbach and Gladbach v. Wolfsburg:
Line: Bayern -320, Draw +480, Gladbach +700
History: Bayern v. Gladbach: Even money for the last four meetings with Gladbach grabbing two wins and Bayern grabbing two wins. The striking thing is that in the past five meetings Bayern scored 15 goals. You can sure as chit expect a goalfest in this one. Gladbach have been up and down as of late and Bayern have been pumping in the goals. Fans do not matter, Bayern are going to come out and lay a whopping on Gladbach.
Players to Watch: Keep on eye on Gladbach’s Thurman, he has been absolutely dynamite since the return of Bundesliga play and has been constantly involved in Gladbach’s attack, you should expect a goal from him in the match. From Bayern keep on eye on the German wonder-boy (man now) Thomas Mueller, he recently became the all-time assist leader for the legendary german club, and you should expect to see him on the score sheet.
YL’s Pick: Bayern + Over on Goals
Line: Gladbach +100, Draw +280, Wolfsburg +240
History: Gladbach v. Wolfsburg: Wolfsburg has won the last two meetings between the clubs with Gladbach’s last win coming over two years ago in April of 2018. Is this the game where Gladbach gets back on track? I think so. It will be tough though as Gladbach is coming off shot rest playing against Bayern on the weekend, it will be interesting to see if they pump some new energy into the squad and we may even see the return of Fabian Johnson to the lineup.
Players to Watch: Be sure to look out for Gladbach’s Plea, this man has been dominant since the return and seems to always be in the right position at the right time. Do not be surprised if he decides to bag a couple of goals this game. For Wolfsburg keep an eye on the performance of the young american Ulysses Llanez, if he starts he could provide a serious impact on the game and provide a look into the future of the American soccer. A future focused on the young americans playing in Europe today.
YL’s Pick: Gladbach Goal Line -1
La Liga: Granada v. Getafe and Atletico v. Athletic Club:
Line: Granada +240, Draw +185, Getafe +145
History: Granada has won three of the last five matches against Getafe with a draw mixed in those five matches. Granada certainly has seemed to have the better of Getafe and it should be an interesting match for two of these mid-table sides, but Getafe won the last match convincingly in a 3-1 fashion. This is the game to watch in La Liga this week in my opinion, be sure to catch it.
Players to Watch: The ageless wonder Roberto Soldado, at 35 he is getting up there but he can still have some magical performances. If he is to start I would expect at least a goal from him in the match as he is known around the world for his poaching ability.
YL’s Pick: Getafe Moneyline
Line: Atletico +120, Draw +185, Bilbao +300
History: Atletico v. Athletic Club: The club formerly known as Bilbao grabbed a win just two matches ago against Atletico, but the way Diego Simeone sets up his team it may be hard for Bilbao to find a goal. Atletico has dominated this matchup in the past and it will certainly be a great game to watch. After some time off we could see Bilbao pull out of the match with a victory, a victory that may damage Atletico’s chances of seeing Champions League football next season. For Young Leg’s sake and happiness let us hope this happens.
Players to Watch: Atletico has a string of starters who are out of the lineup due to injury, how they were injured during quarantine is baffling. That said, keep an eye on Atletico’s two strikers Morata and Diego Costa. While both have struggled for goals this past season and Morata never seeming right since his big money move to Chelsea they need to get off the mark early. For a club that has been known for great strikers these two are sorely lacking. For Bilbao, be sure to watch out for Inaki Williams, a forward who has tremendous pace and a knack for goal. He has fallen off since last year, but currently has 9 goals in all competitions.
YL’s Pick: Bilbao Moneyline
The YL Parlay: Arsenal ML, Bayern Over, Getafe ML, Bilbao ML. +14056 🙂
