One time World Cup golden boot winner Thomas Müller is possibly the greatest off the ball player playing the game today. Despite ten World Cup goals to his name, I’d dare to say he more lauded for his play when he’s not scoring.
After a Bundesliga campaign that saw him tied with fellow teammate James Rodriguez in assists he’s entering the World Cup in a different position than years past. It’s going to be hard to replicate his last two performances playing on the right side of the midfield. But with all the options Germany has its very possible he could end the summer with the most assists.
With Müller in the game something can always be created out of nothing. When you have Draxler, Reus, Werner, Brandt, and Goretzka at your disposal you are bound to have a good time. We should all look forward to him picking out players who make runs and hopefully we will see him picked out a few times.
Will Thomas Müller inch closer to Miroslav Klose this summer, or create his own legacy. Let me know what you think @GlennLorance
