Sarri Out?

Following a torrid run of play in the Premier League, are Chelsea already losing hope in their new manager Maurizio Sarri?!?!

The Blues appointed the former Napoli head man to replace Antonio Conte after failing to win the Premier League on back to back occasions (makes sense right? Yeah I don’t understand either). After a great start to life at Stamford Bridge, his tenure quickly went sour like Alvaro Morata‘s time at Chelsea had. An undefeated 5-0-0 record at the start of the season seems a different lifetime for Chelsea fans now after 0-4 and 0-6 batterings from Bournemouth and Manchester City respectively. Chelsea sit in sixth with 5th place Manchester United sitting at 52 points, just 1 behind 4th placed Arnsenal, there still is much to play for at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea fans however, do not seem too optimistic of the future. Turning on star signing Jorginho, who boasts the most successful passes in the league with 2000+ has yet to record an assist with the Blues. Sarri is also firm in his belief to play star CDM N’golo Kante in a more advanced role, which many believe is the root of Chelsea’s problem. And to add a bit more bad news, Chelsea have now been hit with a transfer ban that makes them ineligible to acquire any player through the transfer market for the next 2 transfer windows.

Luckily, the blockbuster move for Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic will go unaffected. The pending acquisitions of Mateo Kovacic, Gonzalo Higuain and the possibility of Morata’s return now face serious questions. And quite possibly the worst part of it all, each passing day gives more signs of Eden Hazard’s intent to complete his long-awaited move to Real Madrid.
