What’s going on everyone just another day of me scrolling the internet, seeing something that irks me a little bit, then writing to make it better. You know why cause that is what Young Leg does I am a healer, I will take a situation that you obviously choked on, and make it beautiful.
First things first what I saw was a list of the best goalkeepers, and it was just such a bad list that it had to of been from years past or something cause YIKES. I am going to make a list, there is actually not going to be bias in it (I SWEAR), and it WILL be beautiful. IT WILL BE *Whisper Yell Voice*
- Alisson Becker – Brazil, Liverpool FCTied at the top of the table with 9 clean sheets, 40 saves in 17 matches. The man who can dish out assists just as easily as holding clean sheets. He is a European Champion and about to be a Premier League Champ.
2. Jan Oblak – Slovenia, Atletico Madrid
Tied at the top of the Spanish Clean Sheet contest, unbeaten from the spot this year, 52 saves in 23 games. The man who has single handedly saved the Atletico Madrid season.
3. Manuel Neuer – Germany, Bayern Munchen
The German #1 is leading the German league in clean sheets, and 51 saves in 21 matches. He is sitting at the top of the table as well with the Bavarians. Euros coming this summer time to earn his spot.
4. Thibaut Courtois – Belgium, Real Madrid
Thibaut Courtois with one of the bounce back seasons of life time he is tied with Oblak for most clean sheets in La Liga, and his side has given up the least amount of goals in Europe currently.
5. Keylor Navas – Costa Rica, PSG
The Costa Rican is settling in well at PSG his side is top of the table, and he has 10 clean sheets in 24 matches and 45 saves for the French champions.
6. Wojciech Szczesny – Poland, Juventus
His season has gone under the radar because he is still giving time to club legend Gigi Buffon, but in the 16 matches Szczesny has 6 clean sheets and 60 saves. He is the man for the big games in Juventus and has not let them down.
7. Kasper Schmeichel – Denmark, Leicester City
The Dane is having another superb season for the foxes second in clean sheets in the EPL, Euros coming this summer, and 65 saves in 25 matches. Even with some changes in the squad they manage to show out this season.
8. Gianluigi Donnarumma – Italy, AC Milan
A player who started so young that this numbers don’t even shock people anymore. Leading the league in Clean sheets with a suspect Milan team that has had more roster/coaching changes in his Tenure than titles. The 20 year old has 72 saves in 22 games.
9. Thomas Strakosha – Albania, Lazio
Bet you weren’t even looking at this guy, but Lazio is shining this year and he is a big part of it. Tied with Donnarumma for clean sheets at the top, 72 saves in 23 matches, the 24 year old is popping up on a lot of different radars this season.
10. Steve Mandanda – France, Olympique Marsille
The 34 year old World Cup winner is sitting at the top of the French league in clean sheets, 58 saves in 23 matches. He has his team as the only squad pacing the Champions in second place, and showing he still has it after the EPL debacle.
